Cadets complete their annual Combat Water Survival Training

Cadets completed their annual Combat Water Survival Training (CWST) at Sinsheimer Park in San Luis Obispo.  CWST is a training requirement for all Army ROTC Cadets and includes five minutes of treading water, a 15 meter swim with equipment and weapon, an equipment ditch, and an unexpected entry into to the water with a 3 meter drop.  Weak swimmers are given focused instruction in order to build confidence in the water.
